E46 330i Mod to 335i

Hi all,

Was interested in knowing if anyone has considered or has done an upgrade to the e46 330i engine wise to current 135/335i specs? Either by upgrading the existing motor or dropping in the 335i motor? What pitfalls could be expected etc etc?
Just curious as its something I may think of embarking on after owning e39 M% and e60 530d - got used to their grunt and 330i is great but could do with extra shove.

Cheaper option would be to just supercharge the car. PM Burgy, he has kits for the e46 330i.

Not sure if you know how my 323i supercharged has performed...

Thanks Crash for your feedback - not sure how ur car has performed. Just a thought at this point but would consider supercharging as well

All I can say is, if you supercharge that 330i, just with bolt on, you'll be more than happy. And you'll be unique... and the SOUND.... =D

Costs too much - dont owe on the 330i, its auto.... also prefer the e46 having had both :sorry:

We have actually just started with out G-Power conversion on a 330Ci which should give a minimum of 350Bhp.

Easy, more affordable and reliable. :thumbs:
