Best I have gotten was 6.6L/100KM also with 3.38 diff, from sandton to centurion, I never drive economically but did just that trip to test.

Nah, that's not fair.....you need to do a loooong trip with mixed driving.....getting on a highway and lightfooting it for 40 km is not a proper indication....:thumbs:

You would need to find one at a scrap yard.. pricing 1500-3000. It basically makes all of your gears a little shorter, so the car has stronger mid-rpm acceleration. It gives the feeling of having more torque (without actually have a more torquey engine).

It increases the percentage of torque delivery through the shorter ratios. You wil reach higher speeds at a more rapid rate.

You will reach lower speed at the red line but you get there faster if you understand me.

The tank before that was 6.9L/100KM, got 689KM on a tank (47L), check my fuelly, and after refilling I just continued to drive as I did for the way home, then I just enjoyed the car. But that was without the 3.38 diff after seeing the work log

So much about the 3.38 diff please advise were I can get it and at what cost
