Hey all

I am looking for rear E46 330d Discs and Pads. Does anyone know where I can source them from at a decent price? The current ones were replaced when I purchased the car and they used a set of el-cheapo ones which sounds like a F*%#$ train every time I apply the brakes. I am based in Midrand so any place close will be awesome. :=):

Thanks

How are they from the dealers? I was amazed to get a set of front disks and bads for my dads E Class for R1600... Sometimes the dealers aren't all that bad.. :dunno:

Phone Jannie at Auto Bavaria Midrand. And ask nicely for discount. :) I buy all my parts from him.

I also vote ATE. Or Meyle if they make them. Avoid Febi Bilstein, the more I see people use them the worse the rep gets.

ATE.....most spares shops sell them. Also price around because you'll be amazed at the price difference from shop to shop(I am in ct tho). Also they are softer than Ferrodo but have the same lifespan

I'll post you the best prices on ATE discs and pads on monday when I'm back at work, as I'm the manager at a Midas shop, used ATE back then on my E46, ATE the only pads I came across that don't leave that black dust so quickly

I Paid R1200 for the rear Disks and Pads on my E46 330d. All ATE. This was 18 months ago.

Mine were purchased at Township Motor Spares in Durban.

Add approx R100 for a Brake Sensor.

My Advice is to research. Call Midas as well as Autozone and Motorzone near Boulders.

There was someone on the forum who purchased the disks and pads from Township Motorspares in Durban and had them shipped to Joburg. Was still cheaper than buying in JHB.

I just replaced Front Disks and Pads on my E90 330D. Cost me R1800 at Township Motorspares in Dbn. I was in Durbs and changed them myself. Bout 4 months ago, I paid R1300 for rear Disks and Pads on my car. All ATE.
