No aftermarket yet. Plan is to see how she performs first then to do aftermarket stuff. (brakes, suspension etc)

Ive just done all fluids except brakes which I plan to do on Saturday when I will also replace rear discs and pads.

Do these motor suffer from oil surge in the corners like the old VW 8v and 16v motors did?

if its standard.. then make sure water is topped up, oil is topped up, tires have enough tread, brakes have enough pads.. & have fun... Maybe put tires to the higher pressure option

Thanks. What pressure in the tyres? I used to run 1.9 in my race car but that ran with semi's, was front wheel drive and had 3 times the power, hense my questions.

Personally I would get the car on jack stands or a lift and make sure ALL suspension parts and subframe pieces are properly tightened.

Agreed and already done. Replaced Lower control arm bushes this past weekend and checked rear sub frame.

Doing wheel alignment tomorrow morning.

My biggest concern is getting a helmet on and fitting under the roof now. May have to drive with sun roof open. LOL
