e46 325i environment temperature

Hi guys, my car does not show correct outside temp, its always at 50 degrees, is there a DIY fix for this or does it require a specialist?

Your sensor, located in the front bumper is probably broken. :dunno:

i think you just need a new sensor and then just plug it in... but i have not really looked into it mine is fine

If I recall correctly, if unplugged it registers something like -40 degC.
Front lower right bumper underneath the car.
Try get one from Goldwagen.

BMW Charges +- R400 for it, had mine replaced about a month ago.
