E46 320i going into Limp Mode

Hi everyone

I bought a 320i recently .....it was driving fine but had high fuel consumption (R750 and only got 483km).

Aircon panel doesn't come on at all - but that's not ,y worry.

So, the issue: my car lost power, it drives very very slow...it's in limp mode (3rd gear).

What could the issues be, who can help with reading codes? I'm in Alberton.

I will be most working on the car tomorrow (later today as it's already 1:30am),

I ordered one from Aliexpress.....60 days waiting period for delivery.

An update for anyone that might have had the sameness limp mode issue:

My transmission oil level was too low.

The oil is about R500 a liter from BMW,

I added some oil in, had error code cleared, walla, bobs your uncle.

Only issue to note is that you must check the part number for your oil type,
Some Trannies are GM and others ZF.
