E46 320D Vibration problems

Hi All
I bought my E46 320d two years ago and have enjoyed my vehicle until lately. I have picked up a vabration coming from the engine when idling, which at first was slight but has gotten worse. I believe that this problem is common and that the E90 has the same problem. I recently fitted a new battery and the vibration has become less but still worrying. I have fitted new engine, gearbox mountings and a new crank dampner pulley, but the vibration persists. Could the vibration be caused by the crank dampner pulley been off balance or could the torque conerter also be out of balance. Your help will be greatly appeciated. If I cannot reslove this problem i will be tempted to fit a Toyota 1J motor.

rough running at idle could be injectors.. have somebody with the right diagnostic equipment check out the smooth running compensation on the injectors..

What year is your car? Could be dual mass flywheel
