Good morning guys, hope everyone had a good weekend.

I would really appreciate some advice, i have a 2002 bmw e46 320d and looking to do an EGR delete on the car and DP, anyone have any recommendations with regards to getting a EGR delete KIT in KZN .

Is there any tried and tested kits that anyone has used before. i have seen a few online but not to sure on which to go for.

Thank you in advance.

Just unplug the vacuum line to the egr and plug it off. Done! Right size nail will do the trick! I suggest you remove the swirl flaps in the intake manifold and check the oil separator that feeds the turbo as your model as well as some others used a loo type oil filter in there and that was practically never replaced/serviced. Get the newer type plastic separator or just remove it altogether.
My 530d has been running without the separator for years now.

Hi Solo Man thank you for the advice.

i checked my car this weekend and noticed the vacum line to the egr was already plugged so thats one thing of the list. i will have a look at oil separator and also check on a kit to remove the swirl flaps soon.

would the removal of the oil separator and swirl flaps come up with any warning lights on the dashboard

Thanks again for the advice, im still learning about my car so appreciate every bit of help
