E46 318ti 2000 model N42

Good day guys, I drive a BMW 318ti E46. The car recently started doing the following, when I turn the key on the heat gauge immediately goes to red on the temperature gauge despite the car being standing for 3 weeks now. There's a rattling noise coming from the throttle with the butterfly opening and closing at the same time. The car just swings but won't start. I've changed the throttle, checked the relays, checked the DME fuse and all is fine but the problem persists. Please help me guys!
