Looking for m5 bumpers

I think you will get more responses or a response if you rather place your add in the "Miscellaneous For Sale/Wanted" section to the bottom of the forum home page. Maybe ask one of the mods to move your thread, or just start a new one there.

He doesn't have the post count to post there. This is his first post. "Looking for m5 bumpers" I doubt anyone's going to help. Not even a hello. No introduction...

Dear OP (that means YOU, poster of the thread),

This is not just a forum. It's a family. If you simply bust through our doors and make an open statement such as the one you did in your first post, which also happened to be your very first post on this forum, then what type of treatment do you expect to find?

When you come through the doors into a place others call home, you introduce yourself out of common courtesy, not assume that we can all point you in the direction of the bumpers you want. It's not an easy item to find. Also, the bumpers you're looking for are "m-sport" bumpers, not M5 bumpers. You can try import them through VAG Cafe who are the importers for all ECS Tuning items. Website: http://www.ecstuning.com/

Otherwise, try scrapyards. Ask them for E39 M-sport bumpers.

Now be courteous, introduce yourself and your car in the showroom, and tell us about this project of yours. There are very informative people on this forum who may just be able to aid you in your project.

That's all, and welcome to the forum :chef:

PS: how can a 5.5 inch dick weigh 88kg?????

Now that is how you should have started your first post, by introducing yourself to the forum...excluding the dick comment... :thumbdo:

WTF's going on here now! If you really need to get a certain part and are unable to post in that section, then pm one of the admin staff and ask for assistance. I'm sure they would be able to help you, at least I think they will.

This is not just a forum. It's a family

To the op, m5/sport pack front bumper will be a direct fit. However you need to find the sport pack rear bumper that is specifically designed for the touring so a sedan one won't work.
You mentioned you want sav speed to turbo the car, his work is severely lacking these days and you will be better off with importing a supercharger kit from the states, my choice would be the ESS twinscrew kit.

You cannot customise a sedan rear bumper to fit a touring, the designs are completely different.
On the Sav front, your 90k isn't a once off thing, you car will be going back alot for teething problems and such so look at around R150k for a complete setup that will be reliable, kiss your aircon goodbye!

Also, its doesn't help that Savspeed are in JHB and you're in CT, thats a very long way to send a car every time you have an issue with the turbo conversion. As I said, you will be better off with a bolt-on SC kit from the states. Your other option is to buy a E39 540i and transplant all the good stuff into your touring body.

Hey guys. Smee again...
150k? In that option then rather just look for a M5iver...
Otherwise - the 2JZ question again
