e60 body swallows those rims whole! hehe.
Looks a bit small, but I think should they be larger, it would look hot!

I agree on the size, but the design of the rim compliments the body. Rounds it off and makes it look so much more "sleek".

True, especially in the last pic you can see it.
I reckon if the 525i had the sports suspension it would look all that much better with the lowered ride height

Is a bit swallowed by the E60 body. Needs to be lower and then the offset increased so that wheels stand out a bit more. I think E39 wheels are like E46 wheels when comparing to E60 and E90 respectively in terms of the difference in offsets. E90 wheels look awesome on an E46, but not the other way around unless you use spacers...

Looks good, but I think the wheel needs to be slightly bigger. Maybe you can get rep in a larger size?? :dunno:

E39 and E60 use the same offsets. Technically, you need spigot rings for your E60 when taking a wheel from an E39 as this is the only 5 x 120 PCD that BMW made with a 74.0 centre bore as opposed to 72.6 like the majority. WHY? I have no idea!

Without this, you will get vibration...

No I did, but needed to just see for myself - actually what I should have done before I opened my 'trap'...

Like the E90 wheels are on the E46, the E39/E60 wheels are on the E90 - saw a 330i like mine with the popular 5 spoke 17" E60 wheels and it looked pretty cool with that offset! :inlove:

Those Rims only look good with a lowered Ride height, The E39 M5 looks good with them because of that!

On the E39 as far as I can remember the back Rim is almost sitting inside the wheel arch giving that wide rim a very nice bulky look to it which compliments the rim and thus the car, On this car you need to look very closely to see that you even have a wide rim on the back because of the fact that the back ride height looks almost raised compared to the front...

Drop the suspension and offset those rims and you will definately have a better result.

But I also tend to agree with everyone else, these rims are too small for such a big car...but maybe dropping the suspension will fix that???

agree with the others dropping the car and spacing the rims out will make them look good... now they just look too small :(
