e39 m5 flywheel

i need to replace my fly wheel on a e39 m5 any advice on a replacement where can i find one.:nonono:

i have the same issue...:bangdesk: theres an ad on ebay for a lightened solid steel flyweel. costs about R7k. my clutch started to slip and i was about to fit a new clutch kit and noticed the play was too excessive on the f/weel. i have not assembled my beast yet as i am a perfectionist and i will do it properly but i will not pay R19k for an oem flywheel.:nonono: should be ordering that one on ebay sometime in the next two weeks. just been too busy fixing everyone elses cars. benefits of that one is its 9.5kg lighter so that should improve the way your rpm needle lifts and will also mean less drivetrain loss.:blab:

Jeff just replaced his M5 with a brand new clutch kit (Luk).

I also heard tonnisons (spelling?) carry it here in claremont for a good price. LUK

I believe he replaced everything...not sure how much exactly it set him back (think around R12k).
