I have found that the rear suspension has ended up with a positive camber (about 2 years ago). this was adjusted and aligned by Autowiel in Centurion.

I do see that problem resurfacing - Any pointers as to what components need to be replaced ?

Negative camber.....

My car has it too, and I'm advised that it may be caused by the ball joints which I will be checking this Friday. Maybe get your shocks tested, and have your ball joints checked at the same time

To my knowledge all BMW's have negative rear camber (designed that way), but not excessively so...

Negative rear camber will not be a symptom of suspension component failure alone, it would have to be accompanied by knocking noises, wobbles, squeaks, excessive tram lining, lack of grip and/or a floaty rear end.
