E36 windows

Hey guys, this is a :withStu: question, but I cant find out how to do it, or what it's even called. Does the E36 have a one touch window up/down? If so, how do I get it to do that.

yes it does have give it one firm press in the up or down direction.

To reset them....

In the closed position, roll the window all the way down in one single movement then roll it up again in one single movement.

That should get them working.

Oh... well if you're outside the car and key in the locked ed position in the door then the windows will all roll up.....but no other way that I am aware of

Nope, not on the sedans.

Only the convertibles comes out with a switch like that, dropping and lifting all windows in one go.

I can close all my windows by using the key in the door(manual locking)... never tried to open all... and not sure about the switch

Oh.....well I have a two button so I guess It was sort of the blind leading the blind

I tried this last night but the light just flashed as i kept in the lock button
