I did lock the cams and had no problems what so ever! I also locked the crankshaft on the back with a pin(think the pin goes into the flywheel). Was actually astound, cause everything went so smooth!! Sorry didnt take any pics, but will remember that in the future! My car still needs a lot of work, so maybe on a later stage I will post some pics as I progress!! The car feels smoother than ever, definitely lighter on fuel and a little bit more alive! Its great!!!!

Vanos O-ring seals - R320
Valvecover gasket & Plugseals(dont know correct name) - R400
Sundries - oil, cleaner, RTV

Thats about it, not to expensive!
Do you have the timing tools??

At those costs I think we should have a get together over the weekend and do a bulk exercise redoing our VANOSESESES ... well not me cause I am seriously mechanically challenged.

... i do have a service due though ... mmm:mmm:

how many beers does it take to do?

6 beers, half bottle Richelieu!! By the time the jobs done your ballsize will have increased aswell, so the car automatically feels more together!!:)
