Hey guys,
Want to swop out the factory radio and install a new cd/mp3 palyer. Does anyone know if there is a wiring adaptor that goes from the 3 in the factory radio to the single plug on new radios. I dont want to have to splice wires. Oh, its a 97 323 with the Grundig WKC 3883 radio.

BMW sell it, not sure on the price.

Also if your car has the antenna in the rear window it is powered by the BMW head unit. Your radio reception may get a little weaker when you change, most guys say they do not notice it.

Grundig 3883 should have 3 plugs , orange , black and brown . Black for power , brown for speakers and orange for cd changer .
May be easiest to get the black and brown plugs from scrapped car then visit radio installers to make up plugs . The plugs on the radio are on a small board so useless to strip an old radio for them ( I checked my old unit !! )

SL Sound behind Auto Alpina has wiring harness that fit Grundig radios. Picked one up today for R100.00. ISO plugs straight into my Sony head unit.
