e36 pistons needed

hey guys mpumalanga area ive got a m52b28 (328i) im going to turbo it i need to find out whats the best bang for buck piston wise some buds told me the rods are good for upto 1.5 bar pistons will be the weakpoint so the engine has 300 k on the clock and i will be overhauling it is there any BMW pistons i can use like N54 or something? or maybe a set of new forged? or someone has a set of them lying around? (i doubt) to sell please advise guys also at 300k kms will i HAVE to increase the piston size? or will stock piston size still be ok to boost on?

Bud what's your budget like and what power goal are you aiming for? There are a few options that you can go for but that depends on what power you looking for and what the budget is like.

Also 1.5bar is very possible on stock internals... but it will be very short lived.

So lets say bud over here wasn't aiming for much power, he was just looking for a std/over size good piston that can handle boost- mahle, AE. where would he start looking?
