The e36 M3 obviously holds a lot of emotional value for most members. Its still the raw purpose built M3 of its day. Compared to other M3s of today it was purpose built with not too many frills.
Again, as explained any car is as much worth as someone is willing to pay for it. The e36 M3 (and any M3 for that matter) is an iconic car. Call it classic, collectors items, or whatever you want they will in future gain value as with any classic/older model M cars (especially the most popular of the series, the 3).
There are valid points being made that the car may be as much worth as R300 000.00. What is missing from this debate is actual pictures of the car in question. Im sure that an e36 M3 with 25 000km may even fetch R400 000.00+. It all depends on the particulars of the car.
