E36 M3 stock backbox

hi guys i have a stock `95 3.0l m3. car pulls and sounds fine but i always get a rattling sound coming from the backbox when i rev or at particular revs. i ried to inspect the back box and it looks intact and has no rust. does anyone know if this can be fixed while im still saving for a complete exhaust system because the noise is annoying. does the exhaust have a flap inside??

Are the heatshields touching anywhere?

Thanx man:hammerhead: i jus forgot to check whether the heat shields are intact i only focused on the back box. im gona try an exhaust place for a lift to inspect thoroughly.
