R5k for a S50 sounds too good to be true...you know the rest.
The cost to rebuild one of these motors is double what it would cost to pick up a clean motor from Japan Auto Trading. I just hope for your sake you don't open it up and find a mangled mess of engine components or worse missing most of it's internals.

You have a very long and expensive road ahead of you, I wish you the best of luck.

Quite a lot has been done on the car over the holidays. I managed to finish every cosmetic & interior bits on the car. I just need to put the door beedings & the rear diffuser (it's January & I too need to play the "I'm broke" card)

Here's where we are.

Seats need a little bit of baby oil & Zum-buk to help with the cracks & stuff.

Sitting a bit high on the left coz I was sorting out the suspension bits on this side.
