Hi Guys.
So as some of you may know on 28/09/2016 I bought a 1994, E36 M3 SA Spec (Production date 07/05/1994) so one of the last of 748 SA Specs produced.
Car was fundamentally in decent condition and straight but needed a little TLC, so the Saturday thereafter I dropped it off by Johan Fritz in Alberton, he ran through the car with a fine tooth comb and found the following issues:
- Boot Lock Barrel needed replacing
- Replace front shocks (Luckily replacement set included with purchase of the car)
- Replace Tappet Cover Gasket
- Replace Steering Rack
- Replace Gearbox mounting nuts
- Replace 2 copper washers on Power steering pump
- Replace Outer CV Boots
- Repair Hooter
- Replace Fog light globe
- Service
So the car has been sorted mechanically and now they are busy detailing it and its slowing transforming.
Next I need to refurb the rims, get new tyres and cut a spare key
Pic of when I dropped of the car by Johan
Old Parts removed
Some of the new parts, others were already installed
Still looking dirty
There were still busy cleaning, but looking a whole lot better!!
