It's ok, 30k will get you a nice citi golf:biglol:, I actually got 70k when i sold it, my friend asked me to get a new fuel pump, airflow meter, central locking, and a major service done, gearbox oil change to castrol bot 130, new bonnet cable, rear dif bush etc, so 10k added. He paid 35k so far, he owes me 45k more plus 20k balance he owes me on my polo he bought for his chick (I forsee I'm not getting paid that money either, hence my price). If I don't get the money, I decided to keep the car for now, sort the issues and sell it on later.

that sucks...
never sell a car and plan on "getting the money later"...

and never buy a car without papers in hand...

I guess we live and learn, money comes first no matter how good a friendship you think you have

If there was a way of buying this without selling my 328 I would do so and slowly piece it back together. 328 + M3, now that's cool

LoL

That being said, i rather prefer to buy a M3 like this for R60K & spend another R60K fixing it rather then buying one for R120K

If i had 120k to spend on an M3 , no ways I'll buy this one with 2xx xxxkm on the clock . You can find one with 140 000km or so on the clock for 100 000 rather and work on that .

That may be true for a Ford Mustang or a Mk1 Golf, but not a motorsport BMW.
Until you have owned and repaired an ///M car, I don’t think you know just how uneconomical that is.
Just ask Rick and I have also explored those grounds. Not worth it. Rather get a proper one from the beginning.

I see your point now, is that the reason why you wont be keeping the M3 for long ?
