So after selling my M3 to a friend, I got paid half, he used the car for a year and now cant pay me, so he gave it back in quite the state. I need opions/advice on the following:

1. Major service
Agents Plugs
What oil? Thinking edge sport 10w60
oil filter
air filter
fuel filter

2. Brake shudder
Need to get the disks skimmed, went to a brake shop who says M3 disks can't be skimmed? How true is this?

3. Rear shocks, is there an alternative to agents shocks?

4. Interior trim
The door pads are falling apart, where do I i find good replacements?
Also the cubby is broken.

5. Gearbox, 3rd gear grates. Who has a good 2nd hand 6sp? Or who can repair mine?

Thanks in advance

Selling to a friend is always a bad thing , you should be able to try your scrapyards , etc . Where are you located ?

This sucks I'm sorry to hear that your friend did this to you.

I would shoot him and pimp out his gf to pay for repairs :fencelook:

depending on kilo's, get new disks. These disks get extremely hot under hard driving and skimming them is not gonna help you breaking performance. Fading will set in very quickley.

When was last major service done and how many kilos was done. Did your friend service the car while in his possesion. If no oil service was done and high kilos was covered I would suggest that you give the engine a good flush. Maybe remove sumps as well to give it a good clean. Check Vanos as well while you at it.

Interior and Gearbox you will need a donor car. Maybe a Interior place can fix the door cards.

Last of all, take your friend outside and beat him for doing this to a M:cry:
