e36 engine bust

Hey guy, Just got this private message from harryjay2000.

Man I have a serious dillema here and maybe you. Can help.
I have the E36 318is 1996 model. The motor is bust, so I have decided to replace it.

I have now found a 318is E36 1999 model complete with ecu locksets and transponder keys. The question is:
If I take this motor do I need to replace the all the transponder keys and ecu or can I run the current 1 I have?

Basically can you advise me on what to do to get the car running again!
