E36 Center Console Upgrade

Hi there,

I am tired of spilling tea/hot chocolate/coffee on my front seat :bangdesk:

So I am looking to remove the tape cassette console and replace it with this: http://tiny.cc/60c0h

Anyone know where I can find one of these in SA? I have a 1997 E36 328i.

Agreed, however tonight I transported take away coffee for my mom and it spilt. That was the final nail in the coffin.

Understood. I got my wife one of those cups with a screw on cap and slider for that reason. At clicks I think 50 bucks later and no more spillage.

It's so irritating buying drinks and having nowhere to put them.

Go to the dealer and ask how much? Can you not maybe remove your tape module are replace with something else?

Take it to a dealer. My e46 had a phone in it when I first got it. Told em, take the bloody phone out and gimme cup holders. DONE.

They will probably have to import. Sooo, if its gonna cost and take to long, try calling some of the scrap yards that strip the cars for spares.
