E36 airflow meter

What position must the meter be? In other words where the plug sits, does it make any difference if the plug at the bottom or plug on top?

Ive always had mine with the plug facing the bottom, it also looks to have less strain on the cable. it shouldnt make a difference in performance or the way the meter reads tho :thumbs:

Cool, because my mach turned it up also because of that oil build up I spoke to u Nikhil, he said then it won't happen with the idle
