E36 328i advice needed please

So last week while cruising through town I noticed my car's mileage and just had to take a picture and share it, so here goes.... :tiptoe:

The car has kept on going strong with no real issues. I've only had to deal with the usual wear and tear issues. Very impressed with these engines :clapper:

Now, on a more serious note, over the weekend I noticed that the car has a bad wobble on the right front wheel when taking long corners at 100km/h+ and only when turning right, taking some weight of the right wheels. This is after I had the stabilizer links and tie rod ends replaced. Any advise would be appreciated. :ty:

The LCAB's and outer ball joints were replaced not too long ago, if that makes any difference.

I had that wobble and replaced my complete control arms to get rid of it. Might want to inspect your outer ball joints and see if they've failed, even though they're new.

I'll have the wheel bearings and ball joints checked this weekend. Could it be that the wheel alignment was not done correctly?

I'll have to take some pics after work but the interior still looks surprisingly good. No tears on the seats although the age is starting to show on the driver's seat, so I guess a leather re-dye is in order.

I had that issue as well, particularly on downhill right-handers. Brakes stopped it.

I took the car to my local TWT yesterday to get it checked out and it seems the problem is that the inner ball joints on the control arm are worn badly. So will get that fixed and see if the problem is resolved. The outer ball joints are still good though.

My 325i build date 04/94 shows 260

I suppose its interesting that your car made it to that mileage if it indeed has the alloy block. Alloy blocks reacted badly with high sulphur fuel and caused the bore linings (Nikasil) to wear away, causing low compression, increased oil usage and smoking. Later xx/97 models had cast iron blocks that last forever.

@444YYY: Earlier e36 were specced slightly differently, pre xx/94 or 95 models (depending on the exact time of production) had thinner front seats, manual climate control, no remote control central locking, different instrumentation, no third brake light and no passenger airbag with optional driver airbag.

Thanks for the info, that's really good to know! Have to say that I don't have any of the issues you mentioned so far.

Regarding the specs, mine has manual climate control, but has the passenger side airbag and driver airbag, full OBC, remote control central locking and third brake light. I'm not so sure about the seats and instrumentation though..
