I replace the fan & radiator  , same afternoon BOOOM!! the same thing happens to the fan and radiator :argh:

any idea whats causing this???

Thanks!

Head gasket perhaps?

Do a pressure test on your cylinders...they should all be within the same pressure range. Any differences indicate blown head gasket...

For the short description of the problem, thats the best advice I can offer.

The only other thing I can think of,thermostat? could be faulty.

Furthermore, check that your fan is securely fitted - may be misaligning and jumping off, causing all the havoc. PS - it shouldnt jump off due to a left hand thread, but this fortifies my sentiments on a secured fan.

Hope it helps and you get it sorted soon. Let us know

Hopefully im understanding this correctly....your radiator fan is breaking and your radiator is getting damaged? Twice in a short period?

I would firstly look at engine mountings before anything else. Perhaps one or more has collapsed?

Make shure to replace the Viscious Clutch on the Fan aswell and not just the Blades. While you at it I would replace the Waterpump aswell since it could have taken a knock from the Fan smashing into the Radiator.Make shure your new Radiator is ligned up properly aswell.
For the Fan to hit the Radiator something had to give in which could possibly be your engine Mountings or your Radiator is not properly secured and has got too much movement.
Don't forget your Viscious clutch can also "explode" and damage your Radiator.
