Pretty accurate, i've had the following issues:
Cracked and Failed Thermostat Housings
Cracked Radiator Necks
Funky Window Regulators and Motors

i know the window mechanism is a very common problem with the e36's but i dont know anyone who actually got it fixed properly

The metal at bottom of the front window on the passenger side. Everybody i've met who owns one i have mentioned to them about that area, we pop off the plastic cover and bang, years of rust! Just above the ECU as well so if your car is outside in heavy rain it's game over for the ECU when you try to start the car.

i have decided not to take the car.... it is going to cost too much to get the car hundred percent
