E34 microfilter

What are my options on non OEM? The stealers want 500 Ronts for one! Rick recond mine is blocked as the airflow is reduced!

I thought of that, but I hear it is not a good idea as the very dirt that clogs up your microfilter will clog up some other part of your ventilation system and cause more damage!

That microfilter is in the dumbest place in the world... learn to love your brake peddle, you will be seeing a lot of it.

Yea! Ive seen some online DIYs...it looks quite a mission to get to!

I hear it is the kakest job to do on a BMW. Some say it is easier if you remove the driver's seat! Who wants to come over to my house to hear the swearing?

I get about five uses out of a microfilter by washing them.

Must I immerse it in water and rub with a brush and then let it dry out?
