I found this link. It is an ftp site that has amongst other things the E30 workshop manual software. I haven't been able to download it yet, but a friend sent me the link and it worked for him.

There is a section with pics and movies too.

I also have the E36 workshop manual software at home on a CD, but I am not quite sure how to upload it yet.

It has the E30, E34, 6 series (1986 onwards) and 7 series (E32) repair manuals electronically
