all the mounting brackets lining up,etcas well as gearbox?

I'll find out when I take her in next week Thursday for dyno, to the guy that rebuilt the motor. Will definitely be posting lots of pics and vids of it.

Also not a fan of basterds, but hey it's a really really fun and scary car to drive

Ok so this schematic resembles my E30

Now I still can't seem to find that darn leak.

Have removed the rear seats and material to reveal the sensor panel. Drove with it open and found no apparent leaks whilst driving. But the smell got a lot worse than before...

Maybe get someone crazy enough to ride in the back while you go around corners

In the last pic the top pipe looks like it got wet

I think its just the cover sponge that rubbed the dust off. However I'll fill her up again and I'm sure there will be fountains pouring out.

Here's the interesting part, the fuel pump under left rear passenger door seems aftermarket. And with the ignition on keeps running even without the motor turning :flyfun:. Which leads me to believe fuel is simply getting dumped somewhere, ie carb or fuel leak. Leaving the pump running (ignition on) shows no sign of fuel leak under the car. Will work more on it Tuesday and give an update

Sounds like it :ty:

Also going to get a new engine mount, driver side. Can see there's tear in the rubber.

Our local stealership said I couldn't just get the glass, I have to buy the whole mirror unit. Let us know what you find.

Taking it to Nitro performance thursday morning at 0730 for fuel leak trace, driver side engine mount replacement and dyno. Holding thumbs it can be done in a day. Keen to see the figures.

Will post a scan of the Dyno figures over the weekend sometime. But she made 203whp before re-jet and 237 after. Must say she runs smoother now over all and pulls cleaner. Still a very noisy ride. The branches and exhaust are not to great either. Long story but I'm advised to have them redone.

Fuel problem seems to be sorted now too. Can reach like 150km on half a tank now :roflol:

The engine mount is really the only thing left to be done, but it's a custom cast mount. And being this time of year, shops closing, will only be able to take it back after the 10th of Jan. Then with time the proper diff mount bracket and just some general TLC.

Oh yes, while I had the seats out I cleaned them and applied some mcquires leather treatment in the process. The car is starting to smell better, as well as drive and look better

You should ask LZ as he might know someone who can help with the engine mount :thumb:

Can't wait for some clips. E30's weigh pretty much nothing so this thing should move :)
