Hope all is well,
About almost 2 years running and max 6000 km on my E30 M20 2.9 stroker we notice the crank sprocket wobbling. On idle we could see it
and I noticed a knocking noise. So left the car in the garage and decided to take out the motor to inspect
Upon stripping off the crank sprocket literally fell off and the two key ways eaten up. The sprocket aswell. So I ordered a new crank bolt and hex washer
Now I am reading on the torque on that bolt. The E30zone and Bentley reckons 302 ft-lbs (410 NM) torque.
My question is how am I gonna torque to that spec. Also is that spec correct ?
Any info regarding the torque will be highly appreciated.
