A variety of interesting rims and the ones from my perspective that will work best are the Alpina rims

The rear wheel arch gap I shall attend to so that the car looks more reasonable...(I was thinking 2 pockets of cement in the boot as a grinder is too much effort)

Where can one find proper Alpina softlines? The replicas look like dog dirt.

Dead bodies in the boot work just as well...

Put some Hartges on there and turf those abominations that is on there right now... Those things are ugly enough they should be fitted to a Ford Kuga with a Samsung S7 plugged into the charging port On a serious note, if you can get hold of a set of 17" Hartge wheels you won't be disappointed. My old man had a set on his 28 M5, and they looked the business.

When I changed wheels I had to remove the wheel spacers.
One bolt as is the norm would not loosen

which led to fire having to be applied to get it to budge

which will lead to the disc having to go back in for powder coating.

And here it is waiting its turn for the gearbox and diff leaks that we have discovered.

I have had this car with me longer than Elton.

I lowered the rear a bit and have been driving it on the odd occasion with great abandon.
Great abandon.

This has reinforced the fact that BMW is marginal on brakes which led to a big brake set being acquired at a reasonable price (thank you Bruce aka Zulu).

Had brackets made as well as bells and I am waiting for the car to return from the panelbeater to install.

We are now contemplating a bit of Powerflex on the front

Thrust arms and control arms.
