Fellow BMW enthusiasts, I’d like your opinions…
I’m considering selling my 1982 E21 323i Baur
Specifications:
1982 BMW 323i Baur
Mileage: 138xxxkm
Colour: Polaris Silver
Gearbox: Auto
Books and spare keys
Beautifully maintained and is complete with original K- Jetronic fuel injection system.
Serviced in July 2023 at BMW, records available.

Interested to know the opinions of the classic enthusiasts if I should keep or sell this vehicle.
Some interesting facts and the production numbers:
The E21, often referred to as the ‘baby shark’, is no doubt a timeless classic. Produced from 1975 to 1983, it marked the introduction of BMW’s 3 Series. It was originally only offered as a closed car until BMW AG entered into a collaboration with the body factory BAUR to produce a cabriolet, with only 4595 units manufactured worldwide. Of that small batch, only 1659 of the 6-cylinder model 323I were produced, and of that, only 499 BMW 323i right hand drives were built, of which only 324 with manual and 175 with automatic gearboxes. Only 85 of them were imported into South Africa - 323i being top of the range. Mine being one of these.
Its key features: iconic design, rare & unique, convertible versatility, collectible, investment potential.
Let me know your thoughts.
