Fitted the fuel cell this weekend. Still need to color match the boot area, fit the battery, extinguisher and nitrous bottle then it is done.

I decided to start with the turbo manifold this weekend. This is not for the faint hearted. This is my first try at it and so far I am happy with the outcome. The worst was getting 6 x 40mm pipes into one square flange that is 50mm x 75mm.

Still busy with the manifold, but it is lookng ok so far.

The turbo now sits much higher in the engine bay and this is just where I want it.

Also decided to round the boot area off with some light weight carpeting.

Looks good indeed!! I actually like the bold stripes.

I can believe the hard work, I did a restoration with NO MODS and that was enough work already. Awesome engine. Any idea what it will achieve once assembled, power etc?

Its a moded, but its still a BMW and nice to see it come back to life.Well done:thumbs:

Thanks Luis.

I removed the bold striping as it was not everyone's choice. I got a lot of criticism from the BMW Purists.

I am looking for 300wkw and 600wnm. For just in case I will add another 50wkw with NoS.

The project is now closer than ever to be completed, can't wait.

Regards
