Dyno of my M135i with plug and play system

afternoon gents.

sorry for the delay i have been mad busy at the office.

ok so i took my car to Motronix near gold reef and here is what the dyno said:

the car was a little hot as, as soon as i got there we put it on the dyno straight away, i know you have to let the car cool for at least 20 minutes then give it a go, but tell me what you guys think. and this is at the wheels.

sorry we never had time to do a stock vs Plug and play system.

so we looking at about 220kw on the wheels and 488nm

Thoughts?

Nice figures, interesting that the power peaks just before 5000rpm. Would have thought around 6000rpm is where peak power is produced. How does the car feel after installing the plug and play? Seems as though there is a large drop off in power after 5000rpm according to the dyno.

the car pulls nicely from the word go, you can feel the torque difference straight away. but i am looking for a different MAP now.

Do you know what the boost is set at? Did you order the USB so that you can adjust the boost?

Not much use without a baseline run.

At least you can use it in future if you decide to do more mods.

Which plug & play is it? The power curve looks okay but the Tq curve looks "sad"

Those numbers seem decent , but am a bit concerned about the curve. Coz stock the car hauls a$$ strongly till about 6 - 6.5k
Is this BMS software?

ye the torque curve needs to be corrected, my mate has the USB we waiting for some feedback from Burger Tunning, once he has come back to us i can take it to he dyno again, but ye some nice power from just a plug and play system...

You can feel the torque pull very early and it feels like it has power all the way,i change at about 6500 RPM anyway...

some guys say the stock M135i pulls around 202kw and 450nm on the wheels?

Can't seem to upload a pic I have of a stock m135i from England producing 340.1hp on flywheel
282.9hp on wheels.
Pump gas that's like 210kw on wheels stock

yip thats what mine did at kAR Dyno,with less than 100km on the clock,

i'm not sure what you paid for the tune,but from what i have seems this piggy back systems cost anywhere from 9 grand up,i was really hoping you would make more power,for no other reason,than to justify me going out and spending that kinda cash,but alas im not sure it is worth the amount spent for those kind of gains.

oh and risk the MP
but hopefully more people will post thier results from different tunes and then we can see better gains

I paid 4k for the system as we bought 4 of them for our cars.

I think there will need to be a little tunning involved to get the full potential out of this system. the guys from Burger tunning say i should get between 30-40hp on the wheels and 50nm of torque

The car does pull a little better on the road, thats for sure, you can def feel the torque, it gained almost 40nm of torque.

Remember that the JB4 system i purchased was made for the F30 335i and not the M135i, so there are a little bugs that need to be worked out.

I wanna get th Map from burger tunning soon, then play around with it a bit.

would love to run my car against a stock M135i and see what the differnce is

The thing we should remember is BMS is claiming 50-60hp n 50nm based on the F30 335i which is 225kw 400nm.
M135i is basically a tweaked n55 and therefore we won't gain that much as quoted from the stage 1

Thats the stage 1 version you have.
Stage two will take awhile to be completed.
Rennzport deals with all products related to BMS. The reason we are not reselling the BMS piggyback stage 1 for the M135 is because there is still too much to be done on the tuning side and stage 1 is not worth it at this stage...but you wont lose money when stage 2 is released...you can just add the stage 2 canbus cabling & wiring to your current set-up. So enjoy the tune as is and leave the tuning for stage 2.

ye no one has tuned a M135i yet, so the power gains between the 335i vs M135i will be minimal, burger tunning are saying small KW gain but big torque!

Thats exactly why i got the stage 1, all i do is buy the stage 2 kit as i already have the harness, but it needs to be tweaked

And considering the pricing on other Simba chips from Schnitzer and Hartge , waiting for stage 2 seems the best plan of action.
