Hi All

so I finally fixed my broken cam sensor on my E39 540i, the one on the first bank.

Here is a dynograph that shows the power difference between a working and a non working cam sensor...

Please note, my car is STILL down on power, due to a misfire from a bad flywheel, but appart from that, you can clearly see what kind of problems a broken cam sensor creates... appart from F/A ratios of course, which were way off btw.

@WerriesM5, damn huge hey !? .. it makes a WORRLLDD of difference when you take off now.

@STREETRACER, howsit man, not exactly sure hey.. thats why I wanna run it on the dastek day so I can compare against someones M5, my power figures arn't making sense to me.
with the auto box I did 231.1kW and 488Nm on someones dyno in pta, and then with the manual box I run the dyno down here and its 195kW.. o_O .. so not sure whats up exactly. Still gotta replace my flywheel and see what it is then.

Hoe de moer ? My 540 only makes 165kw on the wheels.

That is Engine power.

Look on the left of the graph, corrected to engine power.
Go to KAR in kempton Park.
I made 299.8Hp and 421Nm ATW there ;)
