Dynamic Edition carbon fibre front splitters

Hi guys

After a minor incident, my front bumper needs to be replaced, i was once told that with the carbon fibre front splitters, there is a 90% chance they will break if you try to remove them, my question is, has anybody ever removed them successfully or will they need to order new ones (R4500 each)

Yeah, it depends how they where fixed to the bumper. Panel shops might have a few tricks to remove without breaking.

If it was fixed in place with 3M double sided tape, you can try some fishing line twine to cut through the double sided tape. I doubt it would have been drilled and screwed in. If they used some high strength bonding adhesive, it going to be a tough one to take off, I'd recommend speaking to a panel shop for advice there.

I had a minor fender bender beginning of April on the E90.
They had to repair and respray my entire front bumper.
I have the CF splitters. Kyle and I fitted them with black silicone and self tapper screws.
The panelbeaters removed them carefully and put them back perfectly. It is possible to be removed and put back if done correctly.
I was extremely worried about this also and gave them clear instructions when I dropped the car off.
