DSC + Orange handbrake light on

Today I got the DSC + orange handbrake light on (with a beep) after about 20 - 30 seconds of starting and driving off. I switched the car off, then back on again and all was normal :dunno:

The last time I drove the car (yesterday), was in heavy rain so I suspect water may have got somewhere where it should not have. Anyone experience anything similar or can advise. I drove the car for a short while afterwards and everything seemed fine. Stopped/started a few times and the warning lights did not come on again ...

Strange, that is usually what it shows when the DSC is turned off completely, no idea why it would just do it by itself.

Dirty wheel speed sensor or alignment got a bit out.

Alignment seems fine - did not hit anything recently too ... I wonder if I got some muddy water in one of the wheel sensors. Drove SLOWLY through a deep patch of water (estimate 30cm) on the way to work on Wednesday. The rest was just heavy rain.

However, all seems fine again today. If it pops up again, I think I'm gonna clean out the wheel sensors (assuming it is a easy DIY).

Take off the wheel and pull out the sensor. It's like a pen that sticks into the hub with a sensor and cable at the back end. I can't remember now if you also need to loosen the brake calipers too?
