Driving with the rear fog lights on - - - Why?

Guys, who are these morons? I was stuck behind such a person on the M1 northbound this morning, Black 320i, new shape… Do these people not realize?

Not a sign of adverse weather, but still it is necessary to use this function, look at me syndrome perhaps?

Definition of moron: a former term for somebody with significant learning difficulties and impaired social skills, now considered offensive.

I find the red light on the dash annoying when the rear fogs are on... in fog.

I am sure that they think they are more visible that way. Not annoying morons.

I find having rear fogs very useful when you have a moron pull up behind you with their brights on, you just put the rear fogs on and then they put their brights off!

I use it when a moron tailgates me to tell him to back off, sometimes making it look like brake lights.

Yes, I agree, use it when you have an idiot on your tail with hi beam on, but driving with in switched on for no apparent reason?? that is the question here…

I tend to not drive on others tails, that is just a rear ended accident waiting to happen.

We have been having plenty fog in cape town. I normally switch both front & rear fog lights on. I notice other motorists do the same...good thing.

I have only seen one person a year ago with rear fogs on but the weather was perfect. The light is dazzling - not cool.

Dude, I can't stand people using rear fogs for no reason!
I understand they want to be more visible, but they will drive in rainy weather with rear fogs on (a bit understandable) then change lanes without indicating :nonono:

This is probably the most annoying thing in traffic for me as my eyes are very sensitive and it irritates me to no end.
The other day I almost blew a fuse when this piece of shit red Atos cut in front of me and had every light at the back shining straight in my face, double fog's included:argh:.
I replied by turning on the brights and adjust the angle upwards. Lit up the whole interior of the midget in front of me.
Did not help cos some morons just don't get the message.:bangdesk:

It's called "FOG lights", only to be used in fog or heavy mist.
The more you use it, the sooner you loose it.
PS. sorry for my lingo.

I used mine for the first time this morning on my way to work as there was heavy fog for about 15km and I could literally only see for about 5-10m past my bonnet. But the worst is when people drive with no lights at all in heavy fog:yuck: There were a handful of those on the road this morning:flyfun: Very dangerous especially on the highway:banghead:

On a side note, is it ok to drive with hazards in heavy fog to improve visibility? I do that when I drive my Jetta as it doesn't have fogs:fencelook:

And here I thought it was only me who gets utterly annoyed with these a##holes who use their fogs in clear visibility conditions......:argh:
I see it daily on the N1 during my early morning and evening commute to/from the office. It definitely promotes road rage in my case :bat: :hammerhead: :cursin:

They dam idiots that's all. They don't realize how pathetic they are.... Obviously because they cant see behind their own car. They also didn't know that BMW's manual actually does come out in English and there are a way to put your spots on without putting your rear mists on.

Maybe they cant read???? :nonono:
