I'm sure that for most of these people they are unaware that they are on or just unaware that it is irritating :nonono:

Guys, who are these morons? I was stuck behind such a person on the M1 northbound this morning, Black 320i, new shape… Do these people not realize?

Not a sign of adverse weather, but still it is necessary to use this function, look at me syndrome perhaps?

Definition of moron: a former term for somebody with significant learning difficulties and impaired social skills, now considered offensive.

I hate it as well!!!!! Why the hell would you use your fogs when there is no fog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drive in front of them & put yours on. SHOW THEM what it's like :fishwack:

Oh & yes I hate these, they tend to trigger migraines.
They're worse than HIDs in halogen housings because if you're stuck behind them they're constantly shining in your face :argh:

I know on some manufacturer cars they may be on by mistake. But for all the major contributors, the germans, you need to manually turn them on each time. This goes for all the Audi's, BM's, Mercs, VW's at least

Would also like to say that when left on they DO look like brake lights. This reduces the effectiveness of the brakelights as the foglights can be as bright as the brakelight.

It's illeagle to drive with front and rear fogs on in non foggy conditions

I have to agree, this is easily one of the most annoying things on the road.

I know on C-class Mercs (W203 and W204), to put the fogs on you pull the light switch out; but it has 2 clicks, first click is front fogs, second click is for the back. So they've actually turned it on on purpose. :nonono:

Yes, that is correct friends; the drivers need to turn them on. This is not an auto function.

And the idiots driving with no lights on as well (at night)…. What is happening on our roads??

Or people who drive with Hi Beam on in traffic?

Or people who install these crazy head lights, the shit is blinding!!

I personally drive with my front fog’s on, God knows, we need peripheral vision on our roads! I even use them in the day as day time running light if I remember… but this has never been a problem, providing the lights are stock and not boeing landing lights! O, and my habit is supported by our kind traffic department in their fancy cars…

Another thing....

BMW's, Merc's and Audi's being driven and one of the doors are not closed properly

Can they not hear the warning beep and see the warning light on the dash???

Definitely the "look at me" syndrome. You it's those clowns that jump into the car, start it up, and then turn on all the lights like christmas decorations. Seen it ALOT on new F30's. Your car is hot already... no need to try and attract more attention.
Must say, using it to alert someone about their high-beams in your mirrors is cool though, will definitely try it out... and then swich them off again

I just bright the k*k out of people with their rear fogs on, they never understand, but it's not like I care, I'm just sharing my inconvenience.

I hate it when people do this too (when the weather is clear of course). If I do get a gap to get in front of them, I usually put my rear fog light on, then pull away and switch it off - not sure if the idiots get the message though :argh:
