:skit: Lessons won't be learnt because everyday there is a new 18 year old that just got his license and wants to swing his dick around.

And a parent willing to buy a car totally unsuitable for his skill level to help him on his way...

Totally agree with this.

Well Insurance wont pay that's for sure...

So if these vehicles are financed these people are going to learn a hard lesson when that payment comes off there account every month and they have no car to show for it.

I think there might be enough doubt (in those two articles at least and from what is being said online) that insurance pays.

However, this is indeed a VERY hard lesson to learn which many have found out the hard way. Easy to feel like a hero til the kak hits the fan and consequences of the real world set in. Same goes for those drinking/high and driving.

Hope he is not with Discovery insure, cause he was definitely in the speed limit. He will post pics of the marks on the road soon. :tiptoe:

“I saw the BMW coming and the Polo crossing the robot and could see they were going to crash..."

So they're racing through traffic lights and intersections, not even plain straight roads. The stupidity amazes me.

Yes and as johndoe points out on the busiest night of the week on one of the busiest roads...

there's a chance insurance wont pay since the number plate is displayed in the pics all over the net and the news claims it was drag racing/speeding related.

That may be true. But nobody can prove what speed he was travelling without a doubt unless there is some video footage. The article mentions that it was not drag racing. The BMW also had the right of way, not the Yaris.

But still, very reckless, and the "spectators" in that area stand close to the action usually.

The fact that there is mention of this is enough to warrant suspicion of illegal racing.

I'm sorry but any stupid retarded IDIOT that accepts SUSPICION as a fact that insurance isn't paying him out deserves it for being ignorant, especially if he knows,in all truth, that he wasn't racing

He was definitely NOT cruising along within the speed limit, judging by the damage.
I once hit someone who turned in front of me, damage was not close to that, and I did not roll. I was doing 70-80 km/h at the time of impact.

Suspicion will lead to an investigation.
