Down Pipes - R56

Hey guys/gals

I have been considering fitting a downpipe for a while now and was wondering if anyone on the forum has done it? also where should I get one? I know STO has one for R3500 I think (bit steep:blab and Powerflow quoted me R1700 (entails modifying stock downpipe)

You will definately spend more on Remus than the R3500 mentioned.

Why dont you save up for software + the downpipe. Best combo you could do.

ya thats the plan, or dependng on whether my mate has space might bring downpipe (good quality) & intake system from England which works out at about the same price as the STO downpipe. then maybe dyno it before and after the software. The alta boost pipe/downpipe/intake/software should be quite a descent power jump:thumbs:

haha thats what Im hoping for, already have the Alta pipe, gona compile all the parts then install in one go for maximum smile factor :rollsmile:

Im thinking about the wheels, had a set of BBS CHs I had my eyes on, but might just focus on the performance. A nice set of gloss black wheels in the arches is so tempting though:flyfun:

The wheel I really like and I think will look awesome on a MINI is a VMR V710 - pity they dont have the PCD :thumbdo:

can always get hub-centric spacers and sort PCD

most proper wheels 5x100 pcd unfortunately :yuck:

we unfortunatley share a pcd with cars that usually have smaller wheels (citi golfs, Vtecs etc) therefore hard to find nice/descent 18s or even 17s.im struggling to find CHs in 4x100

yeh, keep us updated. I left my car with Techtune this week, asked shaun to change my boost pipes also.. keen to see what comes of it. Who knows, he may just get me an intake also lol
