Door brake/stop

Hello Mense,

Quite random, I've also had this annoyance these few weeks. This is the driver door brake/stop (that piece of metal that stops your door from opening too wide and keep it stationary).

The two bolts on the door itself that holds it into place (under the rubber gasket) sort of slowly but surely started to loosen up...

When I lifted the rubber gasket out, one of the bolts was about 1mm out of the thread/hole.

Quite weird how it manage to unscrew itself

Anyways, advise you guys to check that all your bolts are tightened ;)

Having a screw loose just got a whole new (literal) meaning. I've seen this on some other makes too. Thanks for the heads up Max.

Maybe someone worked on the car before and did not tighten them properly.
