Does your BMW/BMW's have a social media page?

As per the thread title, does your BMW have a social media page? Or do you have a car-orientated social media profile for any of your vehicles (BMW and/or non-BMW)?

Hi ladies and gents. I'm curious if there are fanatics here who have a social media account for their car/s - be it on Instagram, Facebook etc.

No "baecations", graduations, wedding anniversaries etc. Just cars!
I, for one, recently created an Instagram account to profile my BMW's and their build processes and everything else involved. I'm still creating content at this point.

Are you keen to share your Instagram account handle on this thread so we can all give each other follows and likes as we share our automotive journeys (or just stationary, scenic, peaceful moments with our cars)? And of course also follow, tag or hashtag our South African-born Bavarian haven and sanctuary #bmwfanaticsza

Participate in this thread and share your handle, if keen. I'll start.
My Instagram handle is: @nurburgringr_za (Nürburgring'R_ZA)

Peace.

Really like this idea of supporting each other.

We have so many forum members that we could probably all become InstaCar celebrities if we helped each other out!

Going to follow your page right now. .

I have a car related Instagram page, Facebook page and YouTube channel.

I am somewhat perplexed as to the reason that one would create an Instagram account to showcase their car/s given that this platform is available and has some 50k odd subscribers.

Learn me please :)

There are many reasons.

Instagram offers a very different experience as opposed to a Forum showroom thread. Ease of access, keeping up with the times.

I think social media and forums work hand in hand and enable users to channel their audience between the two.

I mean, BMW Fanatics itself has an Instagram account.

As content creators social media is a powerful tool. And often times a gateway into monetization of a passion like car builds etc.

Can almost guarantee you that Instagram etc reaches a bigger audience vs the 50k users here...

Different audiences. Different preferences. Same passion.

50K subscribers of which 49000 are probably inactive/forgotten credentials/banend bots/spiders/duplicates etc

Social media and tagging etc allows you to have a very different kind of audience and showcase things in a very different kind of way. There is a reason for both.

You can be 'fed' content by following certain people and following certain hashtags as opposed to having to seek it out on a forum. The discussions have far more depth on a forum but it gets consumed in a different way: you have to go looking for it and of course if I think about all the forums that are now long dead where I took the time to post as I did here all my effort was wasted and out of my control.

Apart from pics, it takes a heck of a lot of effort to get quality content out. Hats off to guys like Crash who know what they are doing with video or @YasserIsmail above who is brave enough to put themselves out there with video content. If you watched my Karcher video that was enough for me to know I would need to partner with somebody who knows what they are doing if I was serious about making this kind of thing again. I only got 15000 views and a measly 51 likes LOL (in other words nobody cared).
