Nastaliq said:100%, excellent customer service, would mean, they assess the car, realize its a dud, take it back, give you a new one, swallow any difference, and give you something for all your troubles, like an invite to a golf day or something.
But we all know that's not going to happen, what they are going to do is take about a full month to repair all the issues.
Be sure of 1 thing, once the engine has been replaced, the car is just never the same. There is something to be said about factory installation of a motor from stock.
There will be rattles, seals that don't fully seal, oil and grease inside places there shouldn't be oil and grease. you get the idea.
Tell them the whole bloody affair has left a very sour taste in your mind and even though you like the car, you feel the way you have been treated doesn't show the company or brand values you as a customer, and you would actually prefer your money back and will go buy an audi, that they are giving you an excellent deal on (lets face it, audis are shit compared to BMWs (thats my opinion)).
Show them, that you will talk with your feet and not just lip service.
This is manipulative shit, get them to suggest giving you a new car (make them think its entirely their idea), and then reluctantly accept it, after thinking about it for a few days, which makes it appear, like you are indifferent, you WOULD actually take the money and go buy an Audi.

Ya I know you did say before hence me trying to get my money or a replacement vehicle. In my latest plea I am willing to settle on a car which has same features as mine with same or lesser mileage, they tried cornering me to agree to their terms. I asked for guarantees and someone senior to put his cock on the block if it goes sideways. Allah is testing me as I have to deal with a bust fridge and a cracked window and my body corporate are beyond useless.

I hear you but it won't make financial sense because I will get very little for it as it is now two years old. What will I be able to buy with the money I get in terms of a new vehicle with similar power, features and looks.

I'm planning on trading in early next year, when I come back from leave.
Anyway need more space. So either a new Sorento/Santa Fe/Pathfinder or Fortuner
