Rolf is a master of his trade. Go see him.
Agreed. Never been in the situation where they throw parts at the problem. It's always "ok this is the problem". Replace it and problem fixed.

Yup, he is brilliant, and very approachable, and loves the brand. My 635 is with him now. When I get back to Cape Town permanently he will be the only place I will take my cars to. There are a few forumites who use him and swear by him.

Splintheter only takes his cars there. Well those that aren't under MP....of which there have been many lately.

I was there last week, I think he said he was closing from tomorrow and back on the 5th. Says it's the longest break he's had in 10 years. Lol.

Hi, Which vehicle are you taking there?

He'll work on any BMW. He actually prefers older ones (not a big fan of E30's though....lol), but in his workshop there's E24 (mine), E28's, E30's, E36's, E46's, E90's, pretty much anything. And he's a Liqui Moly distributor, so you can get cool stuff from him.

Sorry if this sounds like a plug for his shop, he's just that good.

I must admit that I have been to Mr Fritz Lipnik in Brackenfell about 3 times since I got his details here. No comment, but I don't think I will go back.

What I am looking for is a place that understands the client that knows if they want it done the way they want it done, then they have to do it themselves or if you want it done properly, you have to do it yourself.

And because my ride is an old E36, does not mean you can leave black oil fingerprints on my shit... Ok I deleted the rest of this paragraph about how sick and tired I am... But you know what I`m saying.

I will be checking out Brilliant Mechanical Workshop soon as well.

Yup I take my car there too! Nothing but great service from both Rolf and Ric.
