first off....
Engine oil cooler decided to pack up at 02:00 whilst at Montrose just outside Harrismith. I was forced to spend the night at the protea hotel there (very nice BTW), due to me having my 5 month pregnant wife and 2 year old with me.
go the car towed to Durban from harrismit, which the insurance nor warranty were willing to pay for, so out of pocket.
the car is ok now. New oil cooler, full system flush. and a service for good measure.
Aircon woes...
Changed the compressor, filled gas, new drier and a new heatr valve. So the car is cooling, but very slightly. The blower seems to work and theres no erratic blowing out the vents. So it appears that maybe the aircon guy never filled the gas up properly and only put in a lil bit. now im pissed.
