Diesel smell in cabin

I have a diesel fuel smell in my cabin that appears to be coming from the passenger footwell. I had my fuel system fixed about a year ago and this smell has been getting progressively worse (especially on a hot day). There's no visible dampness in the footwell but the smell is stronger there.
It's a 320D (E46) BTW
any ideas on where to start looking?

When i replaced the Fuel filter on my 325i, The rubber pipes were worn out badly and the clamps that Held them were in bad shape too..

So i use to get this Strong fuel smell too because it was leaking

I think when you done the fuel system, The Old pipes and clamps were used, (Just like i did), and it was leaking and now getting worst.

get under the car and remove that protective cover... then you can see whats going on
